Christmas Haul & Product Reviews

Image
Happy holidays! I hope everyone is taking some time off today to spend time with family and friends. Today, I want to show you a couple of products with you that I've acquired during this holiday season. Patent Shine 10X Lacquer by Butter London ($18) : I've been wanting to try this product for a long time and I finally got a chance when I found it under the tree this Christmas! I have other Butter London polishes and love them all, so I was expecting only good things from this product. I've only been wearing it for a couple of hours, but I can already tell that it's going to be long lasting and chip resistant. Going on, the polish just felt so deliciously thick and creamy! The arrangement of the bristles gives you a ton of length -- which is what I look for when shopping for mascara. Granted, this isn't really a volumizing mascara, but you can give your lashes some extra umph by applying more than one coat. (If you really want volume though, I suggest Better than Sex mascara by Too Faced.) The twistin...

My Makeup Philosophy

As I start this blog, I wanted to talk a bit about my makeup philosophy. I like to think of makeup as a way to enhance and accentuate your natural features and as a way to express yourself. My goal with this blog is to make everyone feel comfortable in their own skin and like the way they look. Although I appreciate other makeup styles, my style is minimalistic and classic, and the products I'm going to talk about and review will generally follow that theme.
