The Loch Ness Monster Likes Makeup Too

Guys. It's been a long couple of months. I've moved, gone to a conference for work, and battled a killer cold. But, through it all, I've been wearing makeup. I don't really have a ton of new favorites (even though I've been on a huge makeup buying binge lately). I just feel like this transition period is really tough for me in terms of makeup. I want to create fall looks and wear sweaters and light candles, but it's too hot outside for any of that. At the same time, I feel like it's too late in the year for Summer makeup. It's awkward, ya know? I just want it to be fall weather, so I can wear my fox sweater and do a cranberry eye. Is that too much to ask for? I purchase a lot of beauty and personal care items (I know that this is shocking news to everyone). But, in the grand scheme of things, I only talk about a very small proportion of products that I buy on my blog. If something doesn't warrant a full review, doesn't make it into a favorites blog, doesn't make it into a haul blog, or doesn't make it into a disappointing products blog, I'm probably not going to talk about it. And that's a problem for me because I believe in no makeup left behind! Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation by L'Oréal ($12.99) - Dude. I loved this foundation. L-O-V-E-D it. It gives your skin such a beautiful, dewy finish and it's super easy to apply and work with. My only complaint is that it's a bit too dewy for my skin. Don't get me wrong, it looks lovely on the skin, but, after a few hours, it starts to get that oily look, which is not flattering. If you have dry skin, I'm guessing this wouldn't be any issue for you (I would say that my skin is normal to dry). If you have "normal" skin, this might be a mild issue, as it is for me. If you have oily skin, this is NOT the foundation for you. A good way of getting around the oil issue, however, is mixing it with another foundation. This is actually a fantastic mixing foundation (side note, I love mixing foundations together). I've mixed this foundation with a ton of other foundations, and it's always turned out great.
