September Empties

Another month, another empties blog! I used up a lot of products this month, just in time to replace them with approximately 500 and a half new products. Yay!

Anyway, let's get into the products that I used up this month.

Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer by Tarte - I've written a lot about this concealer (as has everyone else in the makeup universe); it's one of my favorites and I've been through several tubes of this product. It gives really full coverage, and it's very crease resistant. If you haven't tried the Shape Tape concealer yet, I highly recommend it. I'll certainly continue to repurchase it.

Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum by OGX - So, I really like OGX's hair products; they're cheap and they get the job done. I've gone through several bottles of their Coconut Milk Serum. It definitely reduces frizziness and it makes my hair softer and stronger. If you're looking for cheap hair care products, I recommend checking this out.

Dopey Ultra Satin Lip by ColourPop - Guys, I actually used up an entire liquid lipstick! I can't believe it! It's like a Christmas miracle (except it's not actually Christmas). One day, I was trying to apply this lipstick, and I realized I wasn't getting any product out of the tube no matter how I moved the wand, and I was like "did I use this up? I think I used this up." It was a pretty big moment for me. Anyway, as you may have guessed, I really like this product (otherwise, I probably wouldn't have used up the whole tube (it's really hard to use up a lipstick when you have five million of them)). This is a gorgeous, dusty pink shade that looks good with almost every look. The formula is also really nice. It's not matte, which makes it comfortable, but it doesn't move around as much as ordinary lipsticks. I'll probably repurchase this product eventually, but I should try to use up some of my other lip products first.

BB Cream 8-in-1 SPF 15 in Light by Wet n' Wild - I've been trying to use this BB cream up for such a long time! I'm so proud of myself for finally using it up. This BB cream was fine. Obviously, the coverage is very light (because it's a BB cream). I used this BB cream a lot as a mixer with other foundations. However, the formula is pretty decent. Anyway, if you want a cheap BB cream, I suggest looking into this. I won't be repurchasing it because I have other complexion products that I prefer.

Coconut Cleansing Wipes by Yes To - I have been through so, so many packets of these wipes (they're in almost every empties blog I write). I think they're fantastic. They do a great job of removing makeup and they smell like coconut. 'Nuff said.

All About Eyes by Clinique - I've written about how much I like this product on my blog before. It's a really great eye cream. It makes your skin feel so soft and so nourished. I haven't really had any issues with dark circles since I started using this product. It's very refreshing! I'm definitely going to repurchase it.

Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder in Translucent by Physicians Formula - I went through another one of these powders last month. I honestly don't know why I was continuing to buy it, but I won't be buying it anymore. This powder is just okay. The powder itself is supposed to be translucent, but it comes off very white on the skin. It actually makes me look paler than I am, which is really saying something because I'm pretty pale. In any case, I won't be repurchasing this powder.

Lip Exfoliator in Coconut by e.l.f. - I purchased this lip exfoliator a couple of months ago because I wanted something that would exfoliate my lips in a non-messy way. And, if that's what you're after, this is definitely the product for you. It's basically just a sugar scrub in lip balm format. It's not super exfoliating, but, if you use it consistently, your lips will stay smooth and soft. I have other exfoliators that I prefer, but you can't beat this product for price or convenience. I picked up this exfoliator in the coconut flavor, and it smells and tastes fantastic. I'm definitely going to be repurchasing this!

All Star Face Setting Spray by ColourPop - I just reviewed this product, so I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here. Long story short, this is a decent setting spray. It's not my favorite, but it's pretty good for the price ($10). So, if you're on a budget, this might be a good product to check out. I won't be repurchasing this because I have other setting sprays that I prefer.

Let me know what you used up this month in the comments!
