Review: Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer by Too Faced

Image
The Too Faced Born This Way foundation has been one of my favorite foundations for a while. But when Too Faced released the Born This Way concealer, I didn't feel the need to run out and buy it right away. I have quite a few concealers that I enjoy, so I didn't really feel that I needed to try anything new. However, when I started hearing some of my favorite You Tubers mention how much they liked this concealer, I decided that I needed to give it a try. I've owned this concealer for a couple of months now, and I've had plenty of time to test it out. This is not a new product, but I wanted to give you a review anyway because I know there are probably plenty of people who are still considering whether or not to buy this product. In case you're in a hurry, here's a summary of this concealer: Coverage: Light to Medium Wear Time: Approximately 8 hours Finish: Satin Shade Range: Good (20 shades) My impression of this concealer is that it was des...

Review: So Juicy Plumping Gloss by ColourPop

Image
In their 1 millionth release this year so far, ColourPop created a new line of plumping lip glosses: the So Juicy glosses. Now, I'm not a lover of lip gloss, but I have been getting into lip gloss a little more recently, so I decided to check out these glosses. Before I start talking about these glosses, I should make one thing perfectly clear: ColourPop has another line of lip glosses and these are a) not the same as and b) not a replacement for those glosses. I have a couple of those glosses in my collection, and, while I like the formula, I hate the applicator, so I don't use them very often. On the other hand, the So Juicy glosses are an entirely new product from ColourPop with a new formula and shade range. Right off the bat, I want to say that I like the packaging for this product more than the packaging they use for their other glosses . It gives me serious party-favor-that-I-got-in-gift-bags-at-early-2000s-birthday-parties vibes, but I'm not mad at it. The...

New to My Collection: Mini ColourPop Haul

Image
It seems like every time I turn around, ColourPop has released ten new products. Okay, that might be a bit of exaggeration, but there have certainly been quite a few people putting in some overtime over at ColourPop headquarters recently because they've come out with a ton of new stuff over the past couple of months. Consequently, I've placed quite a few ColourPop orders recently. I've bought some new palettes and other big releases, but I've also picked up quite a few smaller, random products at the same time. Instead of reviewing each product separately, I decided to roll them all together in one place: Super Shock Shadow in I Heart This - For years, I thought I disliked the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow formula. When ColourPop first became popular, I tried a super shock shadow and didn't like it. So, after that, I avoided the super shock shadows. When the ColourPop Disney collection launched a few months ago, I decided to give the super shock shadows another try...

New to My Collection: Mini Bath & Body Works Haul

Image
Every few months or so, I find myself embarking on a Bath and Body Works spree. In recent years, I've managed to get my obsession a bit more under control (it was really out of hand for a while, and I had built up quite the stock pile of B&BW products). However, when I see a B&BW sale going on, sometimes I can't resist. That happened to me recently, thus I have a B&BW haul to share with you: Ultra Shea Body Cream in Rose - As this blog post will probably communicate to you, I really enjoy rose scented things, and I always enjoy B&BW lotions, so the two of them together are a match made in heaven for me. The Ultra Shea Body Cream is particularly nice; it's very rich and creamy and luxurious. I'm definitely going to enjoy this lotion. Fine Fragrance Mist in Rose - I really enjoy B&BW's fragrance mists; I have a bunch of them. They're affordable, yet high quality, and the scents tend to be long lasting. I really enjoy this particul...

Review: Gen Nude Aurora Lights Eyeshadow Palette by BareMinerals

Image
First of all, I want to start off by saying that I know this review is very late. I'm sorry. I have a huge backlog of eyeshadow palettes to review and, for some reason or another, I keep buying new ones! Anyway, the Gen Nude Aurora Lights Eyeshadow Palette was BareMinerals' holiday release. Even though it was limited edition, it's still available on certain websites and might still be for sale in certain stores. So, I think it would be pretty easy to find it if you were so inclined. Overall, I don't think this palette got a lot of attention. That being said, there are so many holiday makeup releases that it's understandably tough for YouTubers and bloggers to pay attention to everything, and BareMinerals is a brand that isn't talked about as much as others. Nonetheless, I do think this palette deserved more attention than it received. When it was released, it immediately caught by attention because the color scheme was very different from all the other...
