Fall 2019/Winter 2020 Empties
It's been a long time since I've written an empties blog, which is strange because they're some of my favorites to write. I always feel a little bit proud of all the products I've managed to use up. Anyway, I've used up a lot of makeup products recently, so let's jump into the list.
Shower Gel in Waikiki Beach Coconut by Bath & Body Works - B&BW makes great shower gels; their formula is fantastic. I particularly liked this one because it smells like coconut; what's not to like.
Fine Fragrance Mist in Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works - Moonlight Path is one of the classic B&BW scents. I love this fragrance; it's very floral and feminine. I've gone through so many bottles of this fragrance, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Aromatherapy 24HR Moisture Butter in Comfort by Bath & Body Works - I buy so many B&BW lotions it's not even funny. This particular scents wasn't my favorite, but the formula was good, and I enjoyed using it.
Ultra Shea Body Cream in Rose by Bath & Body Works - I love B&BW's Rose scent. It's delicious and floral and feminine. Plus, the formula of the lotion is very moisturizing.
Gudetama Tighter n' Brighter Sheet Mask by The Creme Shop - I thought this sheet mask was just okay. It made my skin a little brighter, but, overall, I don't think it was good enough to repurchase.
Fireball by Urban Decay - The Fireball eyeshadow by Urban Decay used to be one of my favorites, but I haven't used it in a long time. I went to swatch it recently, and it just seems like the eyeshadow is old and dried up, so I've decided it's "empty."
Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Powder by Maybelline - If you ask me, this powder is just okay. I bought several of these because they were on sale at some point, and I think they work just fine, but I probably wouldn't repurchase them.
Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques - If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know I love Real Techniques sponges. They're great, but you do have to replace them from time to time. I recently got a pack of new sponges for Christmas, so I threw away several of my old ones.
Acne Fighting Foundation by e.l.f. - If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know I love the Acne Fighting Foundation by e.l.f. I already have a new bottle of this foundation, and I'll continue to repurchase it.
Elixir Mist by Rusk - I don't know where/how I got this hair product, and I don't remember if I liked it or not. However, the spray mechanism is broken and no product is coming out, so I've decided this product is "empty."
Prep + Prime Skin by MAC - I used up a sample of MAC's Prep + Prime Skin primer; it's an okay product, but I probably wouldn't purchase the full size.
No Filter Loose Setting Powder by ColourPop - I hate to say it, but this isn't a very good product. The powder looks very dry and cakey on the skin; I wouldn't recommend it.
Naturals Tahitian Gardenia Flower & Mango Butter Curl Defining Detangler by Not Your Mother's - This is the only hair detangler that I use. I've been through so many bottles, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Dewy Setting Coconut Mist by e.l.f. - I used up two bottles of e.l.f.'s Dewy Setting Coconut Mist. It's one of my favorite setting sprays, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Age Shield Face Sunblock Lotion SPF 110 with Helioplex by Neutrogena - I wear sunscreen everyday, so I go through a lot of tubes of Neutrogena's Age Shield Face Sunblock Lotion. It's my favorite sunscreen, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Candid Foundation by Revlon - I really love this foundation. I wrote a full review about it. I already have a new tube, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Miss Manga Mascara by L'Oréal - This mascara just wasn't very good. I think it's been discontinued, so you can't get it anymore. However, if you do see this mascara for sale somewhere, don't get it!
Snapscara by Maybelline - I used up two tubes of this mascara recently! I really love this mascara. I wrote a full review about it. I already have a new tube, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion by Clinique - I used up a sample of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. It's a great product; I have a full sized bottle now.
Super Shock Cheek in Trickery by ColourPop - This product isn't so much empty as old. This cream blush dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Super Shock Shadow in Acorn by ColourPop - This product isn't so much empty as old. This cream eyeshadow dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Super Shock Cheek in Pretty Bonnes by ColourPop - This product isn't so much empty as old. This cream highlight dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Airspun Translucent Extra Coverage Loose Face Powder by Coty - This is my favorite setting powder. I use it basically everyday, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase it.
Control Freak Eyebrow Gel by NYX - This is the only eyebrow gel that I use. I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Lash Domination by BareMinerals - I used to love this mascara; however, for some reason, this tube didn't work out for me. Maybe BareMinerals changed the formula? I'm not sure. Anyway, this tube was dry and difficult to use. I won't be repurchasing.
Fix + in Rose by MAC - I use a TON of Fix+. It's one of my favorite setting sprays, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase it.
Clean AF Cleansing Wipes by Patchology - I used up 6 packages of these wipes. Six! These are definitely my favorite makeup remover wipes, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase them.
Makeup Remover Wipes by Cetaphil - I really like Cetaphil's makeup remover wipes. They work really well and are fairly affordable. I'll definitely continue to repurchase these wipes.
Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Bubbling Paper Mask by Yes To - This sheet mask was just okay in my opinion. I don't think it did much for my skin, so I won't be repurchasing

Voluminous X Fiber Mascara by L'Oreal - I love this mascara. It gives you a very nice "false lash" effect. I think this is the second tube I've used up, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase.
Highbeam by Benefit - This product isn't so much empty as old. It dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss in Maverick by BareMinerals - I love BareMinerals' lip glosses. I think they've discontinued this formula, which is too bad. However, if I see it again, I'll repurchase it.
Vice Lipstick in 1993 by Urban Decay - I like Urban Decay's lipsticks, especially the 1993 shade. However, the packaging broke that last time I moved to a new apartment, so I've decided to throw it away.
Luxe Longwear Eyeliner Pen by Starlooks Pro - This product isn't so much empty as old. The eyeliner dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Mr. Write (Now) by the Balm - This product isn't so much empty as old. The eyeliner dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner by Stila - These products aren't so much empty as old. The eyeliners dried up, so I decided to throw them away.
Wonder Pencil by NYX - This product isn't so much empty as old. The pencil dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
Moisture Renew Universal Transparent Lipliner by Rimmel London - This product isn't so much empty as old. The lipliner dried up, so I decided to throw it away.
