September Empties

It's the end of the month once again, which means that it's time for empties. I have to confess that I find writing empties blogs to be strangely satisfying. Like, I'm oddly proud of myself for using up products. Is that weird? I don't know, but that's how I feel.

Makeup Brush Cleanser (Rosewater Scent) by Japonesque ($14) - This is my go-to brush cleaner, and I go through it like water. I think I'm on my second or third bottle now, and I've already repurchased it. First of all, it gets my brushes clean, and, second of all, it smells absolutely amazing. I always buy the rosewater scent version, which smells so floral and pretty. Plus, the scent lingers for days afterwards. It's so nice to pick up a brush and have it smell like roses. What could be better than that?

Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover by Ulta ($2.49) - There's a lot of nail polish removers out there. In my experience, they're all more or less the same. However, I buy my makeup remover from Ulta because I want to get the rewards points from the purchase (and the Ulta brand is pretty cheap). I also try to use exclusively non-acetone nail polish remover because acetone is really drying for my nails. I've gone through approximately one million bottles of this stuff, and I've already repurchased a new one.

Wild Madagascar Vanilla Shower Gel by Bath & Body Works ($12.50) - As I wrote in my last empties blog, I go through a lot of body wash (which I think speaks well of my personal hygiene). I really like Bath & Body Works shower gels; they smell great and they get your body clean (which, I suppose, is the point). I particularly like this scent. Actually, I think I've gone through two bottles of the fragrance mist of this same scent. According to B & B,  the scent is "vanilla like you've never experienced! An intoxicating blend of the world's most desired vanilla, perfectly enhanced with African pear, wild jasmine and white sandalwood." I think it was a limited edition scent, but, if it's not, I will definitely be repurchasing.

French Lavender & Honey Fine Fragrance Mist by Bath & Body Works ($14) - Last month, I wrote that it was unusual for me to go through an entire bottle of scent, and then I went through another entire bottle of scent, so I guess I'm a liar. Anyway, I finished a bottle of B & B fragrance mist this month. I really loved this scent; according to Bath & Body Works, this scent is a "skin-loving formula is scented with a romantic bouquet of French lavender, nectarine de Provence & sun-kissed honey." It's a very fresh, sweet, girly scent, with a floral undertone. I will definitely repurchase it.

Boi-ing by Benefit ($20) - Okay, so there's still a little product left in this container, but I'm going to call it empty because it's all shoved into the edges, the lid is broken, and the pan is oxidizing. This has been my go to concealer for a long time. It's very thick, covers anything and everything, and it doesn't move or crease. Benefit bills this as "industrial strength" concealer and they weren't lying; if you want FULL coverage, this is the product for you. I've repurchased it twice before, but I think I'm going to hold off on repurchasing it again for a while because I want to experiment with other concealers. However, if you're looking for a new concealer, I highly recommend this product.

Mango Mandarin Ultra Shea Body Cream by Bath & Body Works ($13) - As always, I go through a ton of lotion and body cream. Bath & Body Works makes great lotions; they're super moisturizing, and they're super thick and creamy (I hate runny lotion (yuck!)). I think that this scent is now discontinued, which is unfortunate because it was great! It was super fruity and fresh. Like I said, I think this product has been discontinued, but, if I see it again, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Anyway, those were my empties for this month (I'm sorry it was so Bath & Body Works heavy this month).
