Review: Retrograde Highlighter by Ofra

Image
So, I recently picked up the Retrograde Highlighter by Ofra Cosmetics during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale, and I've been testing it out, so I thought I'd pop on and give you a quick review of this product. First of all, I should say that this highlight is $29, which is a LOT of money. I know that it's not the most expensive highlight out there by a long shot, but I probably wouldn't have bought it at full price. I got it for 50% during the Ulta sale, and I think that's a more appropriate price. However, you do get 0.35 oz of product for your money, so you are getting a significant amount of product per dollar. The Retrograde Highlighter is made exclusively for Ulta and includes two Ofra shades: Star Island (warm ivory) and Neptune (icy lavender). I think both of these shades are very flattering on my skin, either alone or mixed together. Now, I am pretty pale in terms of complexion, and I think people with medium to deep skin tones might struggle to use the...

Reviews: TRIPLE-CHROME Liquid Lipstick by Ofra

Image
A few weeks ago, I got an email from Ofra announcing the launch of their duo and triple chrome liquid lipsticks...and I basically lost my mind. Like, I died when I saw these lipsticks. Died. I don't even know how I'm writing this blog right now because I should be dead. Seriously, this is definitely the coolest concept for a lip product that I've ever seen. I mean, why put just one color on your lips when you could have three? Three colors in one lipstick = absolute genius . So, the second I saw these lipsticks I was like "this is non-negotiable; I have to have this" and I ordered one right away. I purchased my TRIPLE-CHROME (let me just repeat that: triple-chrome, as in THREE COLORS) liquid lipstick in the shade Fantasia , which is red, purple, and blue (in one lipstick!!!!).  I'm inserting a video of myself wearing the lipstick and moving my head so that you can see the color shift. Anyway, it came about a week ago, and the first thing I thought ...

Reviews: Ofra Liquid Lipstick

Image
So, in the spirit of continuing my theme of talking about lipstick all day every day, I wanted to give you a review of my latest lipstick purchase, even though it's not a new product at all. I recently purchased Ofra's liquid lipstick because I'd heard good things about it and, more importantly, because Kathleen Lights had a coupon code . Sometimes, liquid lipsticks are over hyped. This is not one of those times. I cannot say enough positive things about this product. I'll probably write a comparison blog, but I may like this product more than Kat Von D's everlasting liquid lipstick . (Shocking, I know). To begin with, this product is super long lasting . You can put it on at the beginning of the day and it will be there at the end of the day -- unless you wipe it off, of course. Not to mention that it doesn't feather at all! However, it isn't completely transfer proof . If you're eating or drinking, you will get lipstick on your food/silverware,...
