Beautifully Bare Foundation Serum by e.l.f.: Review

Image
I'm a big fan of e.l.f. complexion products, so, when I was placing a big order from their website a few months ago, I decided to check out this product: the Beautifully Bare Foundation Serum. I've used it quite a few times since the order arrived, and I have to say that the name is accurate. It does make your face look beautifully bare. It's almost invisible on the skin; it's like a light veil that downplays imperfections. It really is a "your skin but better" look. E.l.f. describes it as a "weightless silky formula melts into skin for a radiant and youthful-looking glow. The luminous, dewy finish helps boost suppleness and minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines," and I think that's a good description. The product basically illuminates and blurs your skin with a minimal amount of coverage. E.l.f. notes that this product has flawless coverage, but I think it's important to note that this product has very little coverage. It m...

New to My Collection: Fall 2019/Winter 2020

Image
It's been a while since I wrote a "new to my collection" blog post. I came up with the idea for these posts a while ago as a way to showcase makeup that I recently added to my collection that I wasn't planning to review separately. The idea here is to give you a lot of opinions quickly. So, without further ado, lets jump into chatting about the products that are new to my collection! Creme de la Creme Palette by ColourPop - I wanted to try ColourPop's powder highlight formula, and, when I saw this palette was on sale, I knew I had to pick it up. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy this formula. The shades aren't very pigmented, and they're extremely glittery. I'm not getting a ton of use out of this palette, but, fortunately, it only cost be about $5, so that's okay. Ultra Matte Lip in Saigon by ColourPop - I really like all of ColourPop's lip products; I have a ton of them in my collection, and I use them often. The Ultra Ma...

Image
It's been a long time since I've written an empties blog, which is strange because they're some of  my favorites to write. I always feel a little bit proud of all the products I've managed to use up. Anyway, I've used up a lot of makeup products recently, so let's jump into the list. Shower Gel in Waikiki Beach Coconut by Bath & Body Works - B&BW makes great shower gels; their formula is fantastic. I particularly liked this one because it smells like coconut; what's not to like. Fine Fragrance Mist in Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works - Moonlight Path is one of the classic B&BW scents. I love this fragrance; it's very floral and feminine. I've gone through so many bottles of this fragrance, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase. Aromatherapy 24HR Moisture Butter in Comfort by Bath & Body Works - I buy so many B&BW lotions it's not even funny. This particular scents wasn't my favorite, but the ...
