Mini Bath & Body Works Haul

Image
A few weeks ago, I wrote a blog post about my last Bath & Body Works haul. Right after I finished writing that blog, I turned around and bought more Bath & Body Works stuff. (I'm beginning to think I might have a problem with scented soaps and candles). Anyway, because of that, I now have another Bath & Body Works haul to share. I promise this will be the last one for a while (I think). Strawberry Pound Cake   Candle  - This candle is so sweet it's kind of sickening. I mean, it's like being punched in the face with sugar, but I like it. I don't think it smells like pound cake though; it's more like frosting. Also, the wax itself is aggressively pink. What's not to love? Cinnamon Sugared Donut   Candle  - This candle really does smell like donuts, which is AMAZING in my mind. It smells like cinnamon sugar, and it's just delicious. I know I'm going to love having this candle in my room. Mango Mandarin Shower Gel - I'm a...

New to My Collection: Fall 2019/Winter 2020

Image
It's been a while since I wrote a "new to my collection" blog post. I came up with the idea for these posts a while ago as a way to showcase makeup that I recently added to my collection that I wasn't planning to review separately. The idea here is to give you a lot of opinions quickly. So, without further ado, lets jump into chatting about the products that are new to my collection! Creme de la Creme Palette by ColourPop - I wanted to try ColourPop's powder highlight formula, and, when I saw this palette was on sale, I knew I had to pick it up. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy this formula. The shades aren't very pigmented, and they're extremely glittery. I'm not getting a ton of use out of this palette, but, fortunately, it only cost be about $5, so that's okay. Ultra Matte Lip in Saigon by ColourPop - I really like all of ColourPop's lip products; I have a ton of them in my collection, and I use them often. The Ultra Ma...

Review: Turmeric Face Milk by Fourth Ray Beauty/ColourPop

Image
So, I've been testing out products by Fourth Ray Beauty for a while now, and I've had pretty good luck with all their products so far (in case you don't know, Fourth Ray Beauty is ColourPop's sister brand; it produces skin care products). So, when I saw them come out with face milks, I added them to my list of things to test out. However, for one reason or another, I didn't end up testing out ColourPop's face milks until just a little while ago. The first one that I picked up was Fourth Ray's Turmeric Face Milk. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I've had a lot of chances to test it out, so I'm ready to share my thoughts with you. First of all, I should emphasis that this product is marketed as a skin care item, not a primer or something like that. ColourPop says that it is " a subtle, illuminating moisture booster for radiant skin ." I think this is accurate, but the effects are very short lived. When you're using a skin ca...

New to My Collection: Spring and Summer 2019

Image
Guys, I've been shopping A LOT lately. It seems like there have been so many good sales and deals lately, way too good to pass up. So, I thought I'd put together a new to my collection blog; I haven't done one of these in a while, so I thought I'd share some of the products I picked up recently. Peppermint Twist Goat Milk Lip Balm by Dionis - I wear lip balm everyday, and my favorite brand of lip balm is Dionis. It's cheap, and the formula is very creamy and moisturizing. Plus, the brand makes great scents. I ran out of the Dionis lip balm that I was using, so I picked up this balm in their peppermint scent. It's very refreshing, and, more importantly, very moisturizing. I highly recommend it. Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream by Mario Badescu - My favorite eye cream is Clinique's All About Eyes. Unfortunately, however, it's quite expensive, so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. So, I decided to pick up the Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream by Mario Bad...

Clean as What? Patchology Clean AF Cleansing Wipes Review

Image
When it comes to makeup remover wipes, I'm often a little reluctant to try new products. I have my favorites (the Coconut Cleansing Wipes by Yes To), and I don't often stray away from them. However, I've been hearing one of my favorite YouTubers--Samantha March--talk about the  Patchology Clean AF Cleansing Wipes for a long time now, and I finally decided to try them. I picked up a four pack of the wipes (big commitment, I know). I've almost gone through one whole pack now, and I have some thoughts to share, so let's dive into the review! First of all, let's chat about price. Each packet of these wipes is $5, which I think is pretty reasonable. There's only 15 wipes in each packet, which seems like a below average number to me. However, they are affordable, so I can look past that. Now, let's chat about the actual product. I think these wipes are really good at removing makeup; they cut through makeup with very little scrubbing or wiping. Th...

New to My Collection: Mini Bath & Body Works Haul

Image
Every few months or so, I find myself embarking on a Bath and Body Works spree. In recent years, I've managed to get my obsession a bit more under control (it was really out of hand for a while, and I had built up quite the stock pile of B&BW products). However, when I see a B&BW sale going on, sometimes I can't resist. That happened to me recently, thus I have a B&BW haul to share with you: Ultra Shea Body Cream in Rose - As this blog post will probably communicate to you, I really enjoy rose scented things, and I always enjoy B&BW lotions, so the two of them together are a match made in heaven for me. The Ultra Shea Body Cream is particularly nice; it's very rich and creamy and luxurious. I'm definitely going to enjoy this lotion. Fine Fragrance Mist in Rose - I really enjoy B&BW's fragrance mists; I have a bunch of them. They're affordable, yet high quality, and the scents tend to be long lasting. I really enjoy this particul...

New to My Collection: January 2019

It's been a while since I've written one of these new to my collection blogs. I've picked up a lot of new products recently, so I have a lot to talk about. Let's get into it. Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion by Clinique - I needed a new moisturizer and, fortunately, I got a sample of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, which I've been wanting to try for a while.  I've only been using it for a few days, but so far I like it! It feels very nourishing and refreshing on the skin, and it's definitely helping me do battle against dry, winter skin. Overall, I'm quite happy with this product, and I think I'll be repurchasing it in the future. Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Caught In Your Web by Wet n' Wild - I was at Wal-Mart a little while ago, and I saw this highlight, and I was like "yeah, I'll buy that." This highlight is kind of a silvery, icy, purple-white shade, which is right up my ally. I...
