Fall 2019/Winter 2020 Empties

Image
It's been a long time since I've written an empties blog, which is strange because they're some of  my favorites to write. I always feel a little bit proud of all the products I've managed to use up. Anyway, I've used up a lot of makeup products recently, so let's jump into the list. Shower Gel in Waikiki Beach Coconut by Bath & Body Works - B&BW makes great shower gels; their formula is fantastic. I particularly liked this one because it smells like coconut; what's not to like. Fine Fragrance Mist in Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works - Moonlight Path is one of the classic B&BW scents. I love this fragrance; it's very floral and feminine. I've gone through so many bottles of this fragrance, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase. Aromatherapy 24HR Moisture Butter in Comfort by Bath & Body Works - I buy so many B&BW lotions it's not even funny. This particular scents wasn't my favorite, but the ...

Fall/Winter 2018 Declutter

Image
A lot of makeup products pass through my collection. I'm constantly picking products up and using things up, but I also declutter things from time to time. Over the past few months, I've decluttered a few products. So, without further ado, let's get into my recent declutters: Afterglow Palette by Becca - I've had this palette in my collection for a while. I liked that Ulta gave out full size palettes, and I liked the shade selection, but I didn't like the formula. I didn't really think I was going to use the palette, so I decided to pass it a...

Disappointing Products (Summer 2018)

Image
It's been a while since I've written a "Disappointing Products" blog post, which is a good thing I suppose. In general, I'm patient with makeup and I'm usually able to make products work, so it's rare when something truly disappoints me. However, a few products have fallen flat for me over the past few months, so I'm going to take some time to talk about them. To misquote the Festivus airing of grievances: "I got a lot of problems with this makeup! And now you're gonna hear about it!" Anyway, let's get into the disappointing products: Lasting Finish 25 HR Breathable Long Wear Foundation by Rimmel London - I picked this foundation up at Walmart because I thought it looked interesting (and it was cheap); I was especially intrigued by its claim that it lasts 25 hours. I mean, I've seen foundations that claim to last 24 hours, but I figured that something that lasts  25 hours had to be something extra special. Unfortunately, it ...
