It has been a MINUTE since I did an empties blog. So, as you can imagine, I have a small mountain of empties to share with you. So, grab a snack and settle in because this is gonna be a long one. I know it's technically summer now (although our weather is not super summer-y at the moment), but I'm going to call this Spring empties because I used up most of these things during the spring. So, let's dive in! Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly by MAC - MAC's Paint Pots are the only eyeshadow primers I use. I've used up a couple of these paint pots over the past few years, and they're far and away the best eyeshadow primers I've ever used. They give the eyeshadow a really good base to stick too, and they're very opaque, so they cover any texture or discoloration in your eyelids. I don't know about you, but October went past pretty quickly for me. I feel like I say this a lot, but I feel like I blinked my eyes and October was gone. I tried quite a bit of new makeup in October, which I'm working on reviewing now. However, I do have some new favorites this month, and I'm excited to share them with you, so let's dive in: Climax Mascara by NARS - I've been hearing about how great NARS' Climax Mascara is for a while. I finally got a sample from Sephora, and, let me tell you, it is not over-hyped. It is a really, really nice product. The mascara really makes your lashes look very full and long and "fluffy" for lack of a better word. It's a gorgeous and very flattering mascara, and I understand why so many people love it. I've been really enjoying this mascara this month, but I don't think I can justify repurchasing it because of the price. As I've said before, I really like writing posts about products that I used up. I buy so much makeup that sometimes it's nice to prove to myself that I can/do use things up and actually get my money's worth.
