March & April Empties
As I've said before, I really like writing posts about products that I used up. I buy so much makeup that sometimes it's nice to prove to myself that I can/do use things up and actually get my money's worth. It's weird, but I feel accomplished when I use things up, and, somehow, I used a LOT of things up this month (which is good because I'm moving this month and I'm trying to de-clutter things before I move).
Anyway, let's get into this month's empties:
Airspun Translucent Extra Coverage Loose Face Powder by Coty - Say what you want about this powder, but it lasts FOREVER. I think I purchased this product in October, I used it almost everyday, and I'm only now using it up. That's crazy, no? Anyway, I finally used up this powder, and I have opinions about it. At first, I didn't love this product because I thought it looked dry and cakey on my skin; however, I realized that I was using too much product. I think this is definitely a 'less is more' powder. When I use this powder, I gently tap a light layer of powder across the face; if you try to press too much powder into the skin, it won't look cute. You'll look dry and cakey and your makeup will crease. Aside from that, my only complaint about this powder is that it gave my skin a whitish cast. I mean, don't get me wrong, my skin naturally has a whitish cast -- I'm really, really pale. However, this powder adds an extra degree of pale; I usually try to warm it up with some blush.
Fine Fragrance Mist in Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works - This is my favorite Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist ever. I've gone through several bottles of this mist, and I love it. First of all, the scent is great; it's a very clean, floral scent. Plus, it lasts on my skin for a LONG time. I'll definitely be repurchasing it at some point.

Vinoperfect Radiance Serum by Caudalie - I got a sample of this serum from Sephora as a birthday gift. Because it was a sample and I didn't use it consistently, it was difficult for me to tell if this serum was making a difference to my skin. I can say that this serum felt nourishing on the skin and that my skin always looked nice the day after using it. I wouldn't repurchase it because it is super expensive and because I have another serum that I prefer that happens to be cheaper. However, I do think that this is a nice product and I would recommend trying it if you get a chance.
Prep + Prime Skin by MAC - I got a sample of MAC's Prep + Prime Skin primer when I placed an order on MAC's website. I've had samples of this primer before, and I really like it. I think makeup applies beautifully over this primer. I don't know if I like it enough to buy a full size version of this product because it's a bit expensive. However, I do think it's a very nice primer and I would recommend it.
Photo Focus Concealer (Light Ivory) by Wet n' Wild - I've written about this concealer many times; I love it. I think it blends out beautifully, it has a lot of coverage, and it has a really interesting, bouncy texture. It's very hydrating and it hardly creases at all. I already have a back up of this concealer, and I will definitely continue to repurchase it.Prep + Prime Skin by MAC - I got a sample of MAC's Prep + Prime Skin primer when I placed an order on MAC's website. Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Andromeda by NARS - Get this. I finished a single eyeshadow. Let me say that again: I FINISHED an entire single eyeshadow. I mean, I would like a round of applause because that's a major accomplishment. I think I bought this eyeshadow in 2014, so I've had it in my collection for almost four years, which is CRAZY. Anyway, I'm super proud of myself for using up this shadow. I have so many single shadows in my collection that it's kind of miraculous that I actually used up an entire shadow. Anyway, let's talk about the actual shadow. I LOVED this shadow. The formula was FANTASTIC. It was super creamy, easy to apply, long lasting, and pigmented. I had the shade Andromeda, which is like a shimmery alabaster. I used it to highlight the corners of my eyes and brow bones. I highly recommend this shade or any Dual-Intensity shadow; it's a stellar formula.
Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base by Tony Moly - I've had this product in my collection for two years, and I know that because I reviewed it on my blog two years ago. You can read my review for more details, but I can tell you now that I enjoyed this product. As you can tell from the name of the product, it's supposed to brighten your eyes, and it certainly does that. I used it under my eyes almost every day to brighten up my under eyes. If you have dark circles under your eyes, I would recommend trying this product out. You do have to wear it under makeup; however, I do think it reduces under eye darkness considerably. My dark circles aren't that bad, so I probably won't be repurchasing it. However, I would recommend it if you want something that will help with dark circles. Plus, the packaging is just too cute.
Ultra Repair Cream in Pink Grapefruit by First Aid Beauty - I got this cream as a gift from my mom. I used it as a night cream, and I liked it a lot. First of all, It smells great. It also feels very creamy and nourishing on the skin. I probably won't repurchase it because there are other creams that I prefer; however, if you want a cream that is very moisturizing and nourishing, you may want to pick this one up.
Color Icon Bronzer SPF 15 (Reserve Your Cabana) by Wet n' Wild - I originally picked up this product because I thought it would be a good bronzer for me because I'm extremely pale. However, this bronzer wasn't even dark enough for me. So, I ended up using it as a setting powder, and, honestly, I liked it a lot as a setting powder. It gave me a flattering, all-over glow. I probably won't repurchase this powder because I have a lot of other powders to use up.
Conceal & Define Full Coverage Conceal & Contour by Makeup Revolution - This concealer has been a favorite of mine for the past month or so. A lot of people have been saying that it's a dupe for the Shape Tape concealer. I don't think it's a dupe for the Shape Tape, but it's still a nice concealer. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a ton of product. I used up the concealer really quickly, which was a bit disappointing. However, it is an affordable product, so I don't mind repurchasing it. I've already ordered a replacement, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase it.
Organic, Virgin, Unrefined Coconut Oil by Spectrum Organics - I am a big believer in coconut oil. I love to use coconut oil as a hair mask and a makeup remover. I use it almost every day on my face. Personally, I think coconut oil is the best makeup remover out there; it's better than most wipes and eye makeup removers. I can't recommend it enough. I already have a new jar of coconut oil, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase it.
Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract by Burt's Bees - I've written about these makeup remover wipes so many times. They are fantastic! They smell great, remove makeup easily, and are ver affordable. I have approximately six back up packs of wipes in my collection, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase them.
Cotton Comforting Facial Wipes by Yes To - I have written about these wipes approximately five million times. They're absolutely great. They're very moist (I'm annoyed by makeup remover wipes that are too dry), they're relatively inexpensive, and they're really good for removing makeup. I have a few back up packs of wipes in my collection, and I'll continue to repurchase them.
Fix+ Snow Ball Kit by MAC - I picked this set up around Christmas time. Basically, it was just a set of three mini bottles of scented Fix+. Now, I already know that I like Fix+, and I like the scented versions of Fix+ even more. This kit contained three different scents: coconut, rose, and lavender. I really enjoyed all three scents; I think the lavender version had the strongest scent; the rose and coconut scents were a bit weaker, although they were still very nice. Fix+ is definitely my favorite setting spray of all time; in fact, I'm not sure why I even bother to buy other setting sprays. Fix+ makes my makeup look great and extends the wear time. What else could I ask for? This particular kit is no longer for sale, but you can now buy the scented versions of Fix+ in full size Fix+ bottles.
Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara by Maybelline - This mascara was incredibly mediocre. It lengthed my lashes a bit, added a little volume, and it wasn't clumpy. There's nothing wrong with this mascara, but there are certainly other mascaras at a similar price point that are much better. I usually used this as layering mascara because it didn't give my lashes enough oomph on its own. If you want a really good drugstore mascara, I recommend picking up Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara. I will not be repurchasing the Volum' Express Mascara.
Shower Gel in Moonlight Path by Bath & Body Works - If you've been reading my blog for a wile, you probably know that I LOVE Bath & Body Works products. I use their shower gels all the time, and I think they're really great. A little goes a long way, and it does get you clean, which, after all, is the point of shower gel. Moonlight Path is also my favorite scent of all time. It's a beautiful floral scent; it's subtle and feminine and very flattering. I would definitely repurchase this product.
The Fab Pore Purifying Foam Cleanser by Soap & Glory - I really enjoyed this face wash. It smells FANTASTIC, it's alcohol free, and it got my face really clean (which is, of course, the point of facial cleansers). I feel like it was gentle on the skin, yet very effective. I would definitely repurchase this face wash, although I have others that I want to use up first. I highly recommend this cleanser.
Anyway, those were all the products that I used up in March and April. Let me know what you used up this month in the comments.

Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer by Tarte - I've written about this concealer so many times (as has every other beauty blogger/vlogger). I probably sound like a broken record, but I absolutely love this concealer. It's so full coverage and creamy, and it looks amazing on the skin. I've been through three or four tubes of this concealer. I already have a replacement, and I'll definitely continue to repurchase it.
No Filter Concealer by ColourPop - Apparently I used up ALL the concealer this month. To be fair, the concealer was almost empty at the beginning of March. I've been holding on to it for a while for absolutely no reason, but, in reality, it's basically empty. I wrote an entire review of this product, but, long story short, it's a very mediocre concealer. I wasn't very impressed by it, so I won't be repurchasing it.

Naturals Tahitian Gardenia Flower & Mango Butter Curl Defining Detangler by Not Your Mother's - A few months ago, I wrote that I thought that this product was going to become a holy grail product for me. Guess what, it's a holy grail product for me. I use this product almost every day to get tangles out of my hair. It's fantastic and I love it; I've already repurchased this product, and I'll continue to repurchase it.
