Review: Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base by Tony Moly

First of all, let me give you the basic information; this product is basically a brightening stick for your under eyes (although, you could probably use it on your lids too). The product itself is a twist up stick; I think it's designed to roll directly onto the skin, but you could also apply it with your fingers. It applies evenly and blends well. As I said, this is a serum; the texture is somewhat creamy, but I would say that it's more similar to a mousse. It almost feels like a gel.
On your skin, it's more or less sheer, although it does have a white-ish tint. Obviously, the white tint is what makes your eyes look brighter; however, I'm not sure if this product would work for someone with a deeper skin tone. I'm about as pale as pale can be, so this product matches my skin well, but, it might not work for every skin tone. However, all in all, this product does exactly what it says it does: it brightens your eyes.
However, the best part of this product is the packaging. I mean, it looks like a PANDA. A PANDA! Ugh, I love pandas. My only real problem with this product is that it's called "Panda's Dream." I know that they're trying to make a joke about pandas having dark circles around their eyes, but I don't think pandas -- unlike people -- want to get rid of their dark circles. I saw a video about how pandas all have unique eye patches, apparently they use them to recognize other individual pandas. Isn't that cool? So, it wouldn't be a panda's dream to get rid of their dark circles. But, there's some chance that I'm thinking about this too much.

I also think that its important to note that this product is made by the brand Tony Moly, which I had never heard of before. Based on my googling, Tony Moly is a South Korean brand. Apparently, the name of the brand literally means "putting style into packaging." If that's what they're aiming for, they're definitely successful.
Finally, I want to mention that this product is $12. I think that's a fairly reasonable price, especially if you really struggle with your dark circles. Plus, let's be real, the panda packaging is worth $10 on its own.
Final rating: 8/10
