April Favorites

This month was extremely busy for me; I spent a lot of time traveling, moving, and packing to move. Consequently, I don't have a lot of new favorites. If I was wearing makeup, I was mostly using tried and true favorites. However, I do have a couple of new favorites to share with you.

Flawless Finish Foundation by e.l.f. - I have four words: I love this foundation. If you know me, you know that I'm a huge fan of drugstore foundations. In my opinion, there's no real reason to buy a high end foundation; quite honestly, drugstore foundations provide almost the same quality. I would say that the Flawless Finish Foundation provides medium to full coverage and a demi-matte, satin finish. It's a beautiful foundation, it's very flattering on the skin, and it's fairly long wearing. On an average day, I get a solid eight hours of wear out of this foundation. Plus, it's only $6; there's no way that you'll get better value for that price. I highly recommend this foundation.

Fresh & Fit Awake Make Up by Essence - First things first, I have to say that this foundation has a HORRENDOUS shade range. There are only four shades, and they're all fairly light (although, ironically, the lightest shade is a touch too dark for me). However, I will say that this is a very flattering foundation. It has light to medium coverage and it gives your skin a fresh, natural look.  It's the perfect foundation for every day looks. It's not very long wearing; however, I don't mind that very much for casual, everyday looks. Plus, it's only $7, so it's a great buy.

Conceal & Define Full Coverage Conceal & Contour
by Makeup Revolution - I've been hearing a lot about this concealer lately. Some people are saying that it's a dupe for the Shape Tape Concealer, and some people are saying that it's nothing like the Shape Tape Concealer. I don't think this concealer is a dupe for the Shape Tape, but I can see why some people would say that. And, even though it's not a dupe for the Shape Tape, it's undeniable that it's a good concealer. I would say that it has medium to full cover (certainly less coverage than Shape Tape) and a demi-matte finish. It's a little lighter and more comfortable on the skin, although both concealers have the same creamy texture. My only complaint is that you don't get a lot of product per tube. I went through my tube of this concealer so quickly! It took me less than a month to use up the whole tube. Nonetheless, it is a great product, and I would recommend it. Plus, it only costs $7, so it's a great deal.

Lash Sensational Mascara by Maybelline - This mascara is called the Lash Sensational Mascara, and it really is sensational. It's super lengthening, and it makes you look like you have a million lashes. Maybelline says this mascara provides a "a sensational full fan effect," and that's absolutely true. Plus, this mascara is only $9, which is pretty affordable. I highly recommend this mascara.

Anyway, those were all my favorites this month. Let me know what your favorites were this month in the comments!
