New to My Collection: Fall 2019/Winter 2020

It's been a while since I wrote a "new to my collection" blog post. I came up with the idea for these posts a while ago as a way to showcase makeup that I recently added to my collection that I wasn't planning to review separately. The idea here is to give you a lot of opinions quickly. So, without further ado, lets jump into chatting about the products that are new to my collection!

Creme de la Creme Palette by ColourPop - I wanted to try ColourPop's powder highlight formula, and, when I saw this palette was on sale, I knew I had to pick it up. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy this formula. The shades aren't very pigmented, and they're extremely glittery. I'm not getting a ton of use out of this palette, but, fortunately, it only cost be about $5, so that's okay.

Ultra Matte Lip in Saigon by ColourPop - I really like all of ColourPop's lip products; I have a ton of them in my collection, and I use them often. The Ultra Matte formula is very drying, so I usually wear a lip balm underneath. However, the good thing is it's extremely long lasting. I picked out this particular color because it's a) I like red and b) it was on sale.

Ice Dream Super Shock Shadow by ColourPop - Whenever ColourPop has a sale, I find myself stocking up on Super Shock Shadows. This shade, Ice Dream, is a shimmery shade with pink and purple glitter. It's a beautiful topper shade, and I like the Super Shock shadow formula; however, I don't this is something you have to run out and buy.

Lippie Pencil in Obvi by ColourPop - I really love ColourPop's lip liners. They're the best lip liners on the market right now, in my opinion. I have a ton of them, but I was really attracted to this shade (Obvi), so I picked it up. I've been using it a LOT. It's a gorgeous, deep rose shade.

Catch Some Sun Brush Set by ColourPop - I have a ton of brushes, but, for whatever reason, I always feel like I need more. I was buying some stuff from ColourPop a while ago, and I saw this brush set, and I was like "sure, I'll buy that." So far, I have gotten good use out of this little set; ColourPop has really nice, soft brushes, and I enjoy them a lot.

Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Pepper by Bite Beauty - I really like Bite's lipstick formula (they seem to have discontinued it now, which disappoints me), so, a few month's ago, I decided to treat myself and buy this lipstick. I picked the shade Pepper because 1) it's a gorgeous shade of purplish pink and 2) my cat's name is Pepper, so, of course, I have to honor her.

Pure Nude Highlighter by Essence - I've been hearing about this highlighter on YouTube for AGES, and it did not disappoint. It's a very pale, neutral gold shade. It looks very natural and subtle on the skin. I have a feeling I'll be using it a lot in the spring and summer.

Waterproof Snapscara Mascara by Maybelline - I wrote a whole review of the Maybelline Snapscara Mascara a while ago. I really enjoy the formula. So, when Maybelline decided to release a waterproof version of the Snapscara, I decided to buy it. It's a great mascara, perfect for every day looks. I've been using it a ton, and I'll certainly repurchase it.

Later Hater Spot Treatment by Fourth Ray Beauty - I used to buy the Mario Badescu drying lotion regularly; however, I recently discovered that ColourPop makes a cheaper alternative. This product is designed to help get rid of acne, and it works pretty well, although I don't really have many problems with acne. I'll definitely continue to purchase this spot treatment going forward.

Lip Plumping Gloss by e.l.f. - A few months ago, I went on a complete lip gloss binge and bought a ton of products. I picked up two shades of e.l.f.'s Lip Plumping Gloss, and I've discovered that I really love these glosses. They provide a little bit of plumping and they have just the right amount of stickiness.

Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper by Milani - I picked up this gloss a few months ago. As I said, I love lip glosses. This one is really gorgeous; it's full of little microglitters, and it makes your lips look nice and juicy.

Crybaby Anti-Frizz Smoothing Serum by IGK - I'm always interested in picking up new hair products. I really struggle with my dry, damaged hair, so I'm always looking for products that will help. I thought this serum would reduce the frizziness in my hair, but so far I haven't noticed much of a difference. Plus, this serum has a strong scent that I don't really like. I probably won't repurchase it.

Cat's Purrfect Night Mask by Tony Moly - I needed a new night cream, so I picked up the Cat's Purrfect Night Mask by Tony Moly. To be honest, I think I mostly bought this for the packaging; it's super cute. The product is just okay, in my opinion. It doesn't do much for my skin, so I probably won't repurchase it.

Biodegradable Micellar Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes by Almay - I picked up these wipes because I was intrigued by the idea of biodegradable makeup remover wipes. To be honest, all makeup wipes are probably biodegradable. However, I like these wipes all the same. They're fairly affordable and effective, so I would recommend them.

Quickliner Lip Liner by Clinique - My mom got this lip liner in a set and gave it to me because she doesn't use lip liners. Honestly, it's not my favorite liner. It's smooth and easy to apply, but it doesn't have a lot of pigment. All the same, it's creamy and moisturizing, so I'll continue to use it.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel by Clinique - I needed a new moisturizer, and I generally like Clinique products, so I recently picked up Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I think it's a great moisturizer; it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft.

Let me know what you purchased recently in the comments!
