PSA: Get Your Eyebrows Threaded

So, I know I'm a little behind on this trend, but I've recently discovered how amazing eyebrow threading is and I would like to talk about it.

If you've never had your eyebrows threaded, you should run -- not walk -- to the nearest threading salon and have it done. Like, you need to get your brows threaded today yesterday -- that's how good it is. I guarantee that your eyebrows will never look better; you will have the best of all possible eyebrows. And, if you've had your eyebrows threaded, you know that what I'm saying is true.

When threading first became popular, I sort of dismissed it. I thought it would be basically the same as waxing. But it's not like waxing, it's much better than waxing. It doesn't hurt as much as waxing, it's more precise, and it gives your brows a better shape. Don't let anyone tell you that threading hurts, because it doesn't hurt at all. It does have a sort of weird, tingly sensation though, and, if you have sensitive eyes (like me), it will make your eyes water.

Plus, in my town anyway, it's pretty cheap. My local threading shop charges $10 for threading, which is a great price. I believe that you need to do it every two weeks to keep up with it, but, to my mind, $20 a month for awesome eyebrows is not a lot of money to pay.

You will have super model eyebrows. Or, maybe, you will have superhero eyebrows.

The De-Clutter is Real

Let's get one thing straight, I have way too much makeup. I am confident that I will continue to have way too much makeup for the rest of my life. I have enough eyeshadow and lipstick to make sure that my lips will be sticky (weird choice of words, I know) and my eyes will be shadowed for the rest of my life -- and then some. Anyway, I don't mind having a lot of makeup, but, sometimes, it gets a little overwhelming (even for me). So, I recently embarked upon a de-clutter. Review: Tarte 9 Ways To Shine Cheek Wardrobe

I usually do my best to resist buying holiday makeup releases. Often, holiday products have a different formula and aren't as good as other products carried by the brand. However, sometimes holiday releases are just too good to miss. I recently grabbed one of Tarte's holiday releases, the 9 Ways To Shine Cheek Wardrobe. As the name suggests, this is basically a face collection with nine shades of blush, highlight, and bronzer. I was primarily interested in it because 1) I like Tarte blushes and 2) the packaging was SO CUTE .  The shades come in three stacks that slide open and fold up as needed. Recently, I've been obsessed with things that come in this fun, folding packaging, so I'm really glad that Tarte released this product. I just think that this is such a good idea for travel and all that jazz.
