I can't believe June is over already! The summer is moving so fast! The fact that it's already July terrifies me; I feel like I'm going to turn around any second and it'll be snowing again. Ugh. Anyway, June was a fun month for me in terms of makeup, so let's get to the favorites!

Pretty Bonnes (By ColourPop) |
Pretty Bonnes by ColourPop ($8) - So, a couple of months ago, ColourPop added a few new shades to its line of highlighters (try to contain your excitement) and I picked up one of them in the shade Pretty Bonnes. I feel like I talk about ColourPop highlighters all the time, and you're probably sick of reading about them, but this is an amazing highlighter! It's a clean, white highlight with a golden undertone that's very flattering on its own or layered under other highlights.Currently, my favorite way to wear it is layering it under powder highlights. If you don't know, the best way to get a highlight that shines like the sun is to first apply a cream highlight and then dust a powder highlight over it. Pretty Bonnes is perfect for layering because it's very natural on its own.

The Brush Egg |
The Brush Egg ($2) - This is a product
I bought on Amazon. I saw Kathleenlights use it in a video and I was like "MUST. HAVE. IT. NOW." It makes cleaning your brushes so easy and it's ridiculously cheap (although there are more expensive versions out there). To clean my brushes with this product, I just wet the brush, spray on the cleanser, and then I just rub it on the Brush Egg in circular motions. I don't know what sort of magical unicorn dust it's made out of, but it gets my brushes clean in seconds, and I absolutely love it.
Dopey by ColourPop ($6) - As you may or may not remember, ColourPop recently released a line of Ultra Satin liquid lipsticks (
I reviewed them back in March). About a month ago, I picked up the shade Dopey from this lip line, and I've been in love with it ever since. Dopey is a super difficult shade to describe; ColourPop calls it a "dusty mauve," but I think it has some brown undertones as well. Anyway, for me it's the perfect pop of color for summer; it's not too dark or bold, but it's not nude or neutral either. It's just super wearable and flattering all the time. If you want it though, I suggest you buy it sooner rather than later. It's already sold out and been restocked twice on the ColourPop website.

Creme Gel Liner |
Creme Gel Liner by ColourPop ($5) - I feel like this blog post is turning into one huge add for ColourPop, but it just worked out that I've been using ColourPop products non-stop this month. Anyway, I've really been loving their eyeliners (
which I reviewed here) this month. Since my initial review, I've purchased two more shades -- which I absolutely love -- and I've been wearing one of Colourpop liners basically everyday. As I said, they are easy to apply and long lasting. Some of the shades are very pigmented as well, although, some shades are more pigmented than others. For example, the brownish shades are much more pigmented than the greenish shades, which are more patchy. Personally, my favorite shade is
Best O Liner.
