Bath & Body Works Haul

So, Bath & Body Works has been having a TON of sales lately, which means that I've bought a lot of stuff from B&BW over the past month. So, what else is new? Like, if you offer me discounted lotion and candles, there's no way I'm not going to buy it. That's why I have a small stockpile of B&BW products under my bed that would last me through the zombie apocalypse (assuming I live long enough during the zombie apocalypse to need bath products). Anyway, I picked up bunch of stuff that I want to talk about, so let's dive into the haul:

Shower Gel in Warm Vanilla Sugar - I'm sure I've written about this before, but I love B&BW shower gels. They're very concentrated, so you only have to use a small amount of product to clean your body. The Warm Vanilla Sugar scent is, from my perspective, a very neutral scent. It basically just smells sweet with a hint of vanilla.

Shower Gel in Dark Kiss - As I said, I really like B&BW's shower gel formula; it's basically the only shower gel that I use. B&BW describes the Dark Kiss scents as "a seductive blend of black raspberry, burgundy rose & dark vanilla bean." It's not my favorite scent of all time, but I do think that it's a nice, sweet, floral scent.

Shower Gel in Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla - This shower gel was sort of an impulse buy (well, to be honest, this whole haul was an impulse buy). I thought this scent would be really nice for summer; it's basically an extra sweet strawberry scent with a hint of vanilla.

Super Smooth Body Lotion
in Moonlight Path - I don't think B&BW makes the best lotions/body creams/hand creams in the world, but I use so much lotion that I usually just buy whatever smells good and is on sale. I really like B&BW's Moonlight Path scent, so I grabbed a bottle of the Super Smooth Body Lotion in Moonlight Path. Moonlight Path is described as a "a lush garden blend of fresh jasmine, blue violets, sheer lavender & soft musk." To me, it's basically a floral scent with a hint of musk.

Ultra Shea Body Cream in Dark Kiss - I think B&BW's Ultra Shea Body Cream is their best lotion formula. It's very thick, dense, and creamy, and it feels very nourishing on the skin. As I said, I like the Dark Kiss scent. It's very sweet and floral.

Ultra Shea Body Cream in Sensual Amber - As I said, I really enjoy this Body Cream formula; it feels great on the skin. I really enjoy the smell too; B&BW describes it as "the scent of lotus petals & golden amber surrounded by creamy sandalwood." The scent really reminds me of autumn.

Aromatherapy Hand Cream in Sleep - I really like B&BW's Aromatherapy line; the scents are fantastic, and the formulas usually are too. I also really like the mini tubes of hand cream in the line because they're easy to carry around. Sleep is a really nice scent; it basically just smells like lavender, and it's very calming. I'm really enjoying it.

Aromatherapy 24HR Moisture Butter in Energy - As I said above, I really like B&BW's Aromatherapy line. The products are high quality, and they smell great. Energy is one of my favorite scents; it smells like orange and ginger; it's fantastic.

Aromatherapy 24HR Moisture Butter in Stress Relief - I also picked up another of the Aromatherapy body butters in the scent Stress Relief; it's described as Eucalyptus and Spearmint. It smells very fresh and refreshing; the scent is kind of "green," if you know what I mean. I think Stress Relief is a really good descriptor.

Aromatherapy 24HR Moisture Butter in Comfort - I also picked up another of the Aromatherapy body butters in the scent Comfort; Comfort is a really subtle scent. It's described as vanilla and patchouli; it smells slightly sweet and musky. B&BW says that it promotes harmony, and I believe it.

Fine Fragrance Mist in Pink Magnolia - Let's be real, I bought this fragrance for the packaging. It's a kind of sweet, kind of floral scent; it actually reminds me a lot of B&BW's Butterfly Flower scent, which is a little too floral for me. However, I think it's a nice layering scent, and it is quite subtle. If you like Butterfly Flower, you'll probably like this fragrance.

Fine Fragrance Mist in Moonlight Path - Moonlight Path is absolutely my favorite B&BW scent; it has a really lovely musky, floral scent. I seem to find myself wearing it almost every other day; it clings to my body and clothing all day, and it smells fantastic. I've been through a few bottles of it already, and I'm sure I'll continue to repurchase it.

Fine Fragrance Mist in Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla - I picked up this fragrance to match the shower gel. I thought it would be a nice scent for summer. B&BW describes the scent as "a luscious refresher of bourbon vanilla, garden strawberry and apricot nectar." To me, it just smells like extra sweet strawberries, but I think it's a nice, sugary scent.

Eau de Toilette in Midnight Pomegranate - I find it kind of weird that B&BW sells 'real' perfume (and, when I say that, I mean perfume that isn't actually just scented body spray). I feel like actual, REAL perfume doesn't really fit with B&BW product line; it just doesn't really jive with their branding if you ask me. However, for some reason, they sell it, and the Midnight Pomegranate Eau de Toilette was on sale, so I bought it! Midnight Pomegranate was discontinued a while ago, but it was a really great scent while it lasted. It's got this great, fruity, spicy, musky scent. B&BW describes it as "a fiery blend of ruby red pomegranate, blackberry spice & sparkling cassis."

Face & Body Refresher in Almond Milk - I've never seen anything labeled Face & Body Refresher at B&BW before. I'm not really sure what this product is supposed to be, but I'm just going to regard it as a sort of perfume/body spray. The product smells like sweet almonds; it's very subtle and feminine. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this product.

3-Wick Candle in French Lavender - I really love B&BW's 3-Wick candles; they last forever and usually have great scent throw. Also, I live to use the empty 3-Wick candles to store my makeup brushes. I picked up this candle because I really love the scent of lavender. It's just such a refreshing, calming scent. This candle is really just straight lavender, so I'm really enjoying it.

3-Wick Candle in Honeysuckle & Freesia - As you may or may not have guessed, I really enjoy floral scents. This candle has a really nice floral, honeysuckle scent. If you don't know what honeysuckle smells like, I can't really describe it to you, but it smells GOOD.

3-Wick Candle in Casablanca Lily - The scent of this candle is really subtle, and I mean REALLY subtle (like, almost no scent subtle). I really only picked up this candle because I liked the packaging; it reminded me of a Monet painting. It has a faint (VERY faint) floral scent, but it doesn't really smell like lilies to me. I probably wouldn't repurchase it.

3-Wick Candle in Eucalyptus Rain - I really love the scent of Eucalyptus; I think it's very calming. According to B&BW, it smells like "Aromatic Eucalyptus Raindrops, Spearmint Leaves, Fresh Melon." To me, it just smells like Eucalyptus, which is very relaxing. I also LOVE the packaging; I would definitely repurchase it.

3-Wick Candle in Root Beer Float - This is an amazing candle. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It smells EXACTLY like root beer; it's fantastic. Well, it's fantastic if you like the scent of root beer, which I do. It's very fresh and summery in my opinion. I'm actually thinking about picking up another one of these candles; that's how much I like it.
