December Empties

December was a super busy month for me (no shocker there), but, somehow, I found time to use up a lot of makeup (a fair amount, anyway).

Anyway, empties are always my favorite blogs to write, so let's jump into it!

Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover by Lancome - A few months ago, my mom gave me a kit of Lancome minis that she got as a freebie. The Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover was included in the kit, and I finally got around to trying it out about a month ago. This makeup remover is very meh. It's good, but it's not $30 good. (Seriously, guys, $30 for a makeup remover????) Anyway, I do think that this is a good makeup remover, and I appreciate that it doesn't sting my eyes. However, it does leave a slight residue on the skin, which I don't really like. I probably won't repurchase it but that's because of the price, not the product.

Oil Of Morocco Argan Oil Dry Styling Oil by Marc Anthony - I've written about this before, but I have very difficult to style hair. My hair is very dry and very frizzy and generally uncooperative. I find that coating my hair in oil helps it to lie flat, make it softer, healthier, and all that jazz. I like this particular argan oil because it's cheap and it works. I have some other hair products to use up, but I'll definitely repurchase this in the future.

Beautiful Skin Age Defense Cleanser by No7 - I've written about this product before, and I have to say that I don't like it. It's just not a very effective product; if you're going to make a cleanser, it has to actually do some cleansing, and this product just doesn't. I feel like I always had to follow it up with another cleanser, and what good is that? I feel like this was a wast of money, and I won't be repurchasing it.

Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum by No7 - The Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum is another No7 product that I used up this month. I don't know what it is about No7 products, but I just wasn't happy with this serum either. I just don't feel like it did anything for me. It just felt like another step and a product that really wasn't all that useful. And, for $24.99, I expect a product to do something for me. I won't be repurchasing.

Make It Dewy Setting Spray by Milani - I went through this setting spray shockingly quickly. Seriously. I think I picked this up less than a month ago. Now, a month is a decent amount of time, but it's a pretty short amount of time to go through an entire bottle of setting spray. It's probably because I like to douse myself in setting spray ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Honestly, I don't have strong feelings about this stuff. It was an okay setting spray; I would use it again, but, if I never got a chance to use it again, I wouldn't be crushed or anything. It's cheap and it smells good; it's not earth-shattering, but I'm not mad at it.

Facial Cleansing Towelettes Pink Grapefruit by Burt's Bees - Okay, so when I first opened this pack of cleansing wipes, I thought they were okay. Now that I've gone through the whole pack, I can unequivocally state that these wipes are BAD. They smell pretty good, but they're dry and they don't remove makeup well at all. You have to scrub at your face to get the makeup off, and I'm not about that life. The Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract from Burt's Bees are fantastic, but these Pink Grapefruit Towelettes are not good. I will not be repurchasing.

Cotton Comforting Facial Wipes by Yes To - I've written about these wipes a lot. They really are fantastic; they do a great job of removing makeup, they're cheap, and they're pretty gentle on the skin. I've gone through a ton of these wipes, and I'll keep repurchasing them!

Anyway, those were all the products that I used up this month. Let me know what you used up in the comments!
