March Empties

It's finally Spring! The birds are singing, the flowers are coming out, and the grass is growing! Oh wait...we just had a huge snow storm? JK, it's still winter. Which is okay because I've been loving winter makeup this year.

Anyway, I used up a decent amount of makeup this month. I mean, it's nothing like the huge amount of makeup I used up last month, but I'm pretty proud of myself. I always feel a strange sort of vindication when I use up makeup. This is what I used up this month:

True Matte Finishing Powder by H&M - I wrote about this product in my last haul blog. I didn't really like this product. I thought it made me look like cakey and dry; and I think it applies patchily (raise your hand if you knew patchily was a word; I didn't). Obviously, I used this product up, so it's usable. But, it wasn't for me.

Better than Sex Mascara by Too Faced - I think everyone who has ever heard of makeup has heard of Too Faced's Better than Sex Mascara. There's a good reason for this; it's a great mascara. In fact, it's one of my favorite mascaras. Unfortunately, my tube of Better than Sex is really dried up and crumbly, so I can't use it anymore *cue sad face.* Really, I should have tossed this a while ago, but I find it difficult to part with expensive mascaras, even when they're just black crumbles. Even though I really like this, I probably won't repurchase it because I always feel like I have five million sample mascaras to use.

Sweet Peony Dream Body Lotion by Bath & Body Works - If you read this blog on the reg (I saw red instead of regularly because I'm trying to be cool, obviously), you probably know that I like Bath & Body Works stuff. I particularly like that their lotions have really strong, long lasting scents. Sometimes, I put lotion on in the morning, and I can still smell it on my skin eight hours later. This particular scent (Sweet Peony Dream) was limited edition a long time ago, and I liked it so much that I stock piled a bunch of it. It's a very sweet, floral scent. So, if you like that sort of thing, you can't buy this because it's limited edition, and it's been gone for a loooong time.
Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel by Bath & Body Works - I just said it above, and I'll say it again: I like Bath & Body Works, and I especially like their shower gel. I feel like a little bit of this shower gel goes a long way. Whereas, with other body washes, I feel like I have to use a ton of product. This scent--Vanilla Bean Noel--was also the perfect scent for winter. Seriously, it just smelled like Christmas to me. Obviously, it smelled like vanilla, but it also had a spicy, smoky undertone that seemed very holiday-ish to me. Usually, this comes back to B&BW every Christmas, so watch out for it next year!
Coconut Cleansing Wipes by Yes To - I use a pack of Coconut Cleansing Wipes literally every month. So, obviously, I like these wipes. They're cheap, they smell good, and they work. That's a win, win, win, which is a win in my book.

Anyway those were all the things I used up this month. Let me know in the comments what you used up and
