Review: Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow by Milani

A few months ago, I saw a YouTuber swatch a bunch of the Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow by Milani on her channel during a collection video. It was love at first swatch. I got super excited about these shadows, and I instantly ran over to Wal-Mart and bought four: Bella Rouge, Bella Pink, Bella White, and Bella Copper.

First of all, let me give you the stats. There are 31 singles shadows in this line (unfortunately, you can only buy them as singles; there's no palette), they cost $5 each, and you can buy them wherever Milani products are sold (Wal-Mart, CVS, etc.).

Now, on to the important stuff: I am super impressed with these shadows.
Bella Rouge
True, the pigmentation varies a bit from shade to shade. For example, Bella Rouge is not as pigmented as Bella Copper. But, I kind of expected that. Red, purple, green, and blue shadows are usually not as pigmented as brown shadows, for instance. So, I understand why Bella Rouge is not as pigmented. What's good about these shadows is that they build up very nicely. If a shade isn't very pigmented, you can build it up very easily (I mean, if you feel like being patient and everything).

Bella Pink
But, overall, these shadows have a really great formula. They blend nicely and they have virtually no fall out (I guess that's the "gel" part of the formula?). Plus, there's a nice, wide variety of shades in this collection. If you had the whole collection, you could probably create whole looks with these singles shadows. I only have four, as I said, but I love to just pop theses shadows into looks (especially Bella Rouge; you guys know how I feel about red shadows). I also really love to use Bella Pink to highlight my inner corners.
Bella White
If you're in the market for a couple of good, basic single eyeshadows, I recommend picking a couple of these shadows up (or all of them; it's your call).

Bella Copper
Final rating: 8/10
